The only drawback is that they're very heavy and it can be tricky to lift them up when you're carrying a child in a car seat.
Easy to Assemble
Some car seat and stroller combinations can be difficult to put together. We found that the UPPAbaby Cruz v2 Combo was one of the most simple to put together. It comes with a handy quick-start guide which makes putting this system together a breeze. Other models, such as the UPPAbaby Minu and UPPAbaby Vista V2 Thule urban Glide 2 and Baby Trend Snap-N-Go EX Universal were also simple to assemble. The BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo however is a bit difficult to put together. It requires two steps connecting the lower anchors, and using straps to cover the bottom of the carrier. It's heavy so it takes two people to snap the carrier into the base, and then remove it.
In our tests, it took us about 5 minutes to put the UPPAbaby v2 together. This is quite rapid when you consider the time is saved by not having to take out the pieces. Most of these models have a simple process for attaching and detaching the toddler's seat, as well.
